Between the two of us (Chris & Emma), we’ve clocked about 12 years’ work with vinyl, but it wasn’t always as Wrod Industries. Both of us spent a good deal of time in the event industry before spinning off to do our own thing.
For the last few years we have focused mainly on small decals and appliques, but as we’re revisiting our dance floor roots, we’ve rediscovered a number of amazing decals we created and installed in the past.
To view a few of our old pieces, you can check out Emma’s personal portfolio – there are a number of really amazing examples of dance floor decals and designs there. And, as always, if you’re ever curious about what we can and can’t do with vinyl, please get in touch!
Come and see us at Castle Green’s Wedding & Event Open House this Sunday!
We’ll be showing off our vinyl skills and visiting with other vendors from the Pasadena event world. The open house is open to the public, so even if you’re not planning a big event any time soon, it’s a great excuse to check out Castle Green, which is truly beautiful!
More importantly, if you ARE planning a big event, this will be a great way to meet tons of potential vendors in one day. As a soon-to-be bride, I can tell you that meeting with all your potential vendors for a wedding can be daunting. Here you can get a feel for a number of options without all the scheduling!
Buy your $5 tickets here or on Castle Green’s website!
It should be a lot of fun, and there will definitely be food! Hope to see you there!
Well, it’s about time for an update!
Chris and I have both been super-busy doing our own projects, but we’re getting back into the decal swing of things. We’re having a great time with our new Etsy store – lots of our favorite designs are flying off the proverbial shelves!
Even cooler, we have TWO dance floor appliques this month – one is hot pink and the other is for a bridal expo at Castle Green (where I happen to be getting married this summer!) The crazy thing is we’ll be installing both the same weekend, but that should be… well, exciting!
Hopefully we can get more familiar with the setup at Castle Green, as I happen to know we’ll be doing at least one more floor there this year :D
We’ll post pics when we get ‘em – in the meantime, check out our cool new website design!
Until next time,
